General notes

The theme uses TGM activation plugin which means you will be offered to install the plugins that were presented in the theme's demo immediately after the activation. Note that we have excluded Woocommerce plugin from the list as not anyone needs the e-commerce functionality. Still, we have devoted a big paragraph in this section for Woocommerce installation and activation.

Introduction

Visual Composer for WordPress is drag and drop frontend and backend page builder plugin that will save you tons of time working on the site content. You will be able to take full control over your WordPress site, build any layout you can imagine – no programming knowledge required.

Installation

Install and activate the plugin once prompted upon theme activation. If you use the plugin, please make sure to choose the corresponding sample content importing option which can be accessed via Avendor => Import demo data section in your admin panel.

Contact Form 7

Introduction

Contact Form 7 can manage multiple contact forms, plus you can customize the form and the mail contents flexibly with simple markup. The form supports Ajax-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, Akismet spam filtering and so on..

Installation

Install and activate the plugin once prompted upon theme activation. The native documentation for the plugin can be found in author's official website. Make sure to also check the FAQ section as it contains some very useful information.

Email newsletter (optional)

Introduction

Email Newsletter plugin has options to send HTML emails/newsletters to registered users, comment authors, subscribers and contact form users. When a visitor registers, comments, subscribes or uses the Simple Contact Form plugin, their information is stored in a database. Email Newsletter plugin users can view their user base, and email users. This plugin also sends automated email updates to registered users based on activity relevant to that user. This plugin is great for those who seek an easy way to capture user information and send newsletters and automated email updates.

Installation

Go to Plugins => Add new and type "Email newsletter". The first result is the one we need. Install and activate the plugin. Once done, go to "Email newsletter" section in your admin panel and check the features. Make sure to visit the "Setup widget" section to set your own texts. When all settings are set, go to Appearance => Widgets section in your admin panel, you will find a new widget "Email newsletter" added there which you can use in any of Avendor theme's designated widget areas.
